Vinyl signage announcing a “Super Bowl Fan Store presented by Visa” wraps the marquee at 119 S. Meridian St., where Krieg Bros. Religious Supplies operated for decades before closing in December.
The pop-up football-themed retailer (pictured here) opened on Friday. Inside, clothes are available for purchase — as well as ceramic beer steins featuring the Super Bowl XLVI logo, “Greatest Super Bowl Moments” DVDs and a full-size commemorative helmet priced at $179.
A few doors down, at 141 S. Meridian St., vinyl signage for “Cuda Lounge” covers the former marquee for Jillian’s bar/entertainment complex.
Cuda is found on the second and third floors of the building. (A more permanent bar and grill, The Tilted Kilt, recently opened on the first floor.)
Managed by BMG Productions, Cuda was open at 5 p.m. today. It’s expected to be the site of restricted-access celebrity parties next weekend.
