Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery, with support from the Nashville and Clarksville Chive Chapters, recently held a fundraiser resulting in a $3,000 donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The “Nashville Chive Unofficial Meetup, Part Duex”, presented by Budweiser of Clarksville, was held at Tilted Kilt on September 27th and included a silent auction, limited edition tshirt sales, drink and menu specials and more with proceeds going to Susan G. Komen.
In addition to Budweiser, additional sponsors for the Chive Meetup included Saffire Vapor, Love Blood Ink Tattoo, The Joe Padula Show, and Clarksville Online.
The event raised $3,000 for the foundation, which is a national 501(c)3 whose mission is “to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering others, ensuring quality care for all and investing in science to find the cures.”
“This is our second successful charity event in partnership with the Nashville Chive Chapter, a great group of fun and charitable folks.” said Laura Thornton, local marketing director for the ‘Kilt. “With our event being at the end of September we chose Susan G. Komen to benefit from this fundraiser, leading into October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. “
