Cleveland gets Celtic kick with Tilted Kilt

April 26, 2012

There’s a new sports pub in town within walking distance of the Q, Progressive Field and the soon-to-be Horseshoe Casino. After months of construction, the Tilted Kilt has arrived in downtown Cleveland.

If you’re not familiar, the Tilted Kilt is a Celtic-themed sports pub known for its scantily kilt-clad waitress watching.

Dozens of HD televisions are scattered throughout the pub at 21 Prospect Ave. — the former home of Fat Fish Blue, which closed last December.

Quotes like “Just one more, that’s it I swear…” give the walls character, while huge suits of armor stand at attention in several spots. The most notable piece of décor is a massive ship hanging from the ceiling, which was brought in from a Las Vegas casino.

Cleveland’s Tilted Kilt, which made its debut on April 25, is open from 11 a.m. until 2:30 a.m. every day.

While this is the first Cleveland location, a Tilted Kilt opened in Canton last year
