Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery is set to re-open its UK-inspired pub chain location at The Esplanade in Toronto, which opens to the public on Monday, October 5th at 11 am. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10:45 a.m.
At a pre-opening VIP event set for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, Tilted Kilt will let its VIPs in on what has historically been a pre-opening ritual among team members: a highland shield presentation awarded to the new franchise owners.
“What I love about this location is that it’s in Old Town right next to the Distillery District, which is just a great location for a Tilted Kilt. Combined with the new owners’ expertise in the restaurant industry as well as a passion for the Tilted Kilt, I am confident that [Tilted Kilt] will do very well here in Toronto,” said Marty Webb, Tilted Kilt’s Franchise Business Consultant.
Located at block number 38 at the Esplanade in Toronto, the 6951 square foot restaurant, which will employ 130, is uniquely different than other sports bars because of its theme that combines Celtic décor, humorous and slightly bawdy limericks and sexy cast members with food, drinks and a fun, entertaining atmosphere. The restaurant will also offer a spacious bar with more than 32 draft beers including some local selections, and multiple flat screens for sports viewing.
Tilted Kilt at The Esplanade will be open for lunch and dinner, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday and have plans to partake in charity events as well as an excited happy hour line-up.
