The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, a Phoenix area-based chain of sports bars and restaurants, plans to open its first El Paso location Monday, the Las Cruces company that developed the location announced late last week.
Prestige Development Group, or PDG Inc., which designs and constructs restaurant and other retail chain locations, designed a new prototype for the Tilted Kilt chain, the company reported.
The new location, 1501 N. Zaragoza at Pellicano in far East El Paso, is the first in the chain to use the new design. It also will be the first to use newly designed kilt costumes for its scantily clad waitresses, and first to offer the chain’s new drink menu. It will have 36 draught beers and 12 whiskey brands. It will have about 50 flat-screen TVs, and outdoor patio.
Tilted Kilt’s local franchise is owned by a group headed by Las Cruces restaurateur Teo Regalado.
