A restaurant and pub plans to bring its “sexy servers” to its upcoming Westfield Annapolis mall location.

Tilted Kilt is expected to open sometime between late January and early February. The 8,700-square-foot venue will be next to Red Robin, in the space that Hudson Trail Outfitters previously operated. This will be the company’s first foray into Anne Arundel County.

“This is a rehab of something that was not a restaurant and making into a restaurant and pub,” general manager Jerry Mazurowski said. “We are sports pub. We are the best looking sports bar.”

The venue will feature more than 60 high definition televisions and 40 beers on tap. There will be more than 160 menu items featuring English, Irish, Scottish and American fare, hence the Tilted title, Mazurowski said.

The staff will be made up of 180 full and part time employees, with four to five managers. Anyone interested in becoming a Kilt Girl or Guy will have to perform an “audition” or an interview that is similar to trying to get a Hollywood movie or sexy fitness calendar, according to the restaurant website. It has a trademarked costume that includes a kilt and half shirt for women and kilt and top for men.

The Annapolis location comes through franchisees Dan Allen and Sean Cahill, who will operate more than 20 new pubs along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts in the next three to five years, officials said. A Chesapeake, Virginia restaurant opened earlier this year. Additional pubs are also planned to open in Dulles and Montgomery County. With more than 100 locations open around the United States and Canada, the chain features sexy servers, Celtic decor, pool tables and dart boards, officials said.
