What’s on Las Vegas article: VEGAS’ SUPER BOWL

February 3, 2016

Super Bowl 50 is being played in Santa
Clara, CA on Feb. 7. But if you look around Las
Vegas on game day, one might think the game is
being played here. The city is standing room only
with fans who invade every venue to watch this
national spectacle.

One of the biggest settings is the Race &
Sports SuperBook at the Westgate, the largest of
its kind in the world. A more intimate setting might
be a restaurant such as Cabo Wabo Cantina at
Planet Hollywood (702-385-2226), Kahunaville
at TI (702-894-7390) or Tilted Kilt at The Linq
(702-826-2100). Even nightclubs are opening
early on this special day.

One suggestion: don’t wait until game time to
arrive at your favorite place. The game starts at
3:35 p.m. (PST) and it’s best to be seated and
ready to yell no later than 2 p.m.
