“Draft Day,” the Browns-related movie that will be shooting in Greater Cleveland during May and June, will also be collecting some footage at theTilted Kilt on Thursday night.
The movie, which stars Kevin Costner as a fictional general manager of the Browns, will be shooting at the actual NFL draft Thursday night in New York. I assume the bar scenes are to add in real Browns fans. The pub announced in a release that “the production company is using a local crew to film a scene for the movie during the NFL draft. Tilted Kilt of Cleveland needs as many Browns fans as possible to come and cheer on the team as they make their picks.”
“Picks” may be a misnomer as Thursday only features the first round of the draft (unless the real Browns pull off a trade involving multiple picks).
The Tilted Kilt is located at 21 Prospect Avenue in Cleveland. The draft begins at 8:00 p.m., but the release said “fans are encouraged to come early as seats will go fast.”
